FAQ
Big Poppa can be identified by the scar on his left eye, and the small crack in the posterior edge of his first dorsal fin.
Big Poppa was first recorded on the SRMR May of 2019. He is our largest male Bull shark, approximately 15-20 years of age with a length ~2.5m.
Behavior
Big Poppa is adept at all three feeding behaviors and will compete in the hand feed, aerial feed and on the substrate for tuna.
Big Poppa is bold, curious and comfortable approaching divers and making close inspections.
