Bumphead was first recorded on the SRMR in February of 2008. She was named for her upturned snout which appears to be a permanent contusion.
Bumphead is a mature shark of approximately 25 years of age and large at a length of over 3m.
Behavior
Bumphead belongs to a tribe of specialized hand feeding bull sharks.
Bumphead is very comfortable around divers and will approach to make personal inspections.
