Elegant and reserved, TashiBlue is a sweet female Bull Shark freqenting the Shark Reef Marine Reserve. Her outgoing nature and her adaptable skill set make TashiBlue special and a Shark Star.
FAQ
TashiBlue was first recorded on the Shark Reef Marine Reserve in May of 2018. She was named after our Program Coordinator 'Natasha', after the two forged a very special relationship. TashiBlue can be identified by her first dorsal fin where the apex is missing a chunk and the lower lobe of her caudal fin which has a half moon cut out.
TashiBlue is a younger shark estimated 15 years of age and a length of 2m.
Behavior
TashiBlue is a graceful aerial feeder. She will not hand feed, but has no issues getting into the fray and hustling for tuna from the ocean floor.
TashiBlue is comfortable approaching the divers she knows, and will swim in close proximity to them and over their heads.
