Unique and inquisitive, Short Stack is one of only nine female Sicklefin Lemons visting the Shark Reef Marine Reserve. Short Stack is special and a Shark Star.
FAQ
Short Stack was named for her first dorsal fin which is missing the upper half. She is also blind in her right eye.
Short Stack was first observed on SRMR in December 2019, she is mature at ~20-25 years old with a length ~3m.
Behavior
Short Stack is an accomplished hand feeder, and can also be seen competing on the substrate for fallen tuna.
She is very curious and appears quite comfortable around people and will often swim in close for an inspection.
