Leka
Leka is the cutest and youngest male Bull Shark frequenting the Shark Reef Marine Reserve. He may be small but Leka has a big heart and a bigger personality, making him very special and a Shark Star.
FAQ
Leka was first recorded on the SRMR in June of 2018. Leka can be identified by the short and stumpy upper lobe of his caudal fin.
Leka is a young male Bull Shark, approximately 4-5 years of age and small at a length approaching 1.5 meters.
Behavior
Leka can be spotted gliding in and out of the aerial feed and hustling on the substrate for fallen tuna.
Leka is on the shyer side, but as he spends more time on the Reserve he grows more confident by the day.
