All attitude and slick maneuvers, Sheisty is a young male Bull Shark frequenting the Shark Reef Marine Reserve. Admired for his skill set and his brash personality, Sheisty is very special and a Shark Superstar.
FAQ
Sheisty was named for his 'sheister' personality. He can be identified by the genetic right-faced buckling of the apex of his first dorsal fin. He shares this feature with his brother Hustler who also visits the SRMR.
Sheisty was first recorded on the Shark Reef Marine Reserve in February of 2018. He is estimated to be ~7-10 years old with a length approaching 2m.
Behavior
Sheisty is a generalized feeder, adept at all three behaviors. He is a proficient hand feeder, an agile aerialist, and a monster on the substrate.
Sheisty is very bold and very comfortable around people. He will often swim close to divers and make brazen personal inspections.
